Anna's "Carrera Panamericana"

As a get-away and general break during the fall, the "La Carrera Panamericana" in Mexico is a perfect option.
2007 was the 20th anniversary since the restart, the original Panam road rally was run in the -50´s.
Out of 96 teams entering the race, most of us finished the 3000 K race during one week between Oaxaca and Nuevo Laredo.
We altered between first in class and way back due to some trouble - once off the road and another time a flat tyre.
A hot week, a lot of fun and plenty of memories to live through the winter :)

I ran a 65 GT350 in this years La Carrera Panamericana and I was so lucky to have been able to meet and race with Anna and Ralf. If all competitors in this world were half as much fun to race with the world would be a better place. On the way down to the southeren part of Mexico Anna rode with my son and myself and how lucky we were. Regardless of where they finished they are both winners in my book. Good luck in the Monte Carlo Historique!!! I'll be cheering for you.
