Next week is a milestone for our team as we will meet in France! It's time for a first briefing, exchange of ideas and more deep look at the itinerary.
In the meanwhile Pat will be doing a further rally driving - and gliding - training course with a well-known Belgian driver and Porsche specialist: Philippe Ménage who now manages the centre Maîtrise du volant.
And even if you don't intend to take part in rally, he can help you increase your security on the road by acquiring the right reflexes.

The entry list in alphabetical order is to be seen on the website of ACM.
You can also see in the list that our team "Three Quarter Team" entered 12 cars! We'll come back on this on the dedicated blog.

We're officially in!

The official list of participating crews was officially published today on the website of the Automobile Club de Monaco and we can now officially announce we are participating!
Countdown to the 1st of February now begins.

Busy - and stressy - end of week and week-end

Stressy because the ACM should release on Friday the 23rd the list of those who will be allowed to compete in the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique 2008. Keep fingers crossed for us!
Busy for Anna who will be "at the motor event of the year, where the Swedish motor sports elite gathers on November 23-25", the is to say at the Swedish Motorsport Exhibition". She will be there in racing gear and talk about what the Carrera was like but will also introducing the next project: our Rally Monte Carlo Historique! The location of the stand is next to the one of the Midnightsun Rally. If you have a chance, go and meet her!
Busy for Pat because it's the last event of the rowing season, the OBIC (Open Belgian Indoor Championship) (click on OBIC in left menu) and she will be commentating all day!

Anna's "Carrera Panamericana"

As a get-away and general break during the fall, the "La Carrera Panamericana" in Mexico is a perfect option.
2007 was the 20th anniversary since the restart, the original Panam road rally was run in the -50´s.
Out of 96 teams entering the race, most of us finished the 3000 K race during one week between Oaxaca and Nuevo Laredo.
We altered between first in class and way back due to some trouble - once off the road and another time a flat tyre.
A hot week, a lot of fun and plenty of memories to live through the winter :)

Un itinéraire combinant à la fois des grands classiques et quelques nouveautés, et à nouveau un petit tour sur le circuit de glace de Serre-Chevalier. Allez le voir (tab rallye historique) et donnez nous vos impressions!

Anna, with Ralf Christensson on a Ford, finished 21st of the famous La Carrera Panamericana 2007, the Mexican road race. Good practice for the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique, although the temperatures will be quite different ;-) As soon as she is back, you'll get a longer report.

Welcome!

November is at our doors and this means that in less than a month we will know whether we are accepted for the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique 2008!
"We" is still a vague concept for you for the moment ... This is why in the coming weeks we will introduce ourselves, give you some further info so that you can follow "us" in our challenge!
A first hint: Anna is participating in the La Carrera Panamericana 2007 with Los Vikingos.
